Role Overview: As a Digital Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimising high-performing digital assets that enhance brand presence and maximise campaign performance. With a strong background in e-commerce and paid media, you will create compelling social media graphics, landing pages, display ads, email templates, website designs, and other marketing materials that align with our clients’ brand guidelines and performance objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Digital Asset Creation
- Design visually appealing and high-performing digital assets for a range of platforms, including paid social ads, display banners, landing pages, emails, and website content.
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
2. Collaborative Design Process
- Work closely with channel and account leads to understand project goals, audience insights, and campaign strategies.
- Translate campaign briefs into compelling and conversion-driven creative executions.
3. Creative Development & Storytelling
- Develop engaging social ad creatives, email templates, and marketing collateral that balance aesthetics with performance-driven principles.
- Create mood boards, storyboards, and concept decks to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and internal teams.
- Present and justify design decisions based on creative strategy, brand identity, and user engagement data.
4. Performance-Optimised Design
- Design for conversion, ensuring all assets are optimised for click-through rates (CTR), engagement, and conversions.
- Leverage A/B testing insights and performance data to refine and improve designs.
5. Industry Awareness & Innovation
- Stay updated on platform-specific requirements, design trends, and best practices for paid social, display, and email marketing.
- Innovate within digital design by adopting emerging trends, new formats, and interactive elements.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with media buyers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure visual and textual elements work seamlessly together.
- Ensure smooth handoff of assets to development teams when required.
7. Brand Consistency & Creative Leadership
- Uphold brand consistency across all creative outputs while adapting designs for different campaign goals and audiences.
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to other designers within the team.
Characteristics:
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in digital-first product marketing design, with a strong portfolio showcasing paid social ads, email marketing, videos, and Amazon creative.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, Figma, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketing, user engagement principles, and direct response creative.
- Ability to design for performance marketing while balancing creativity and data-driven decision-making.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in UI/UX design for e-commerce or landing pages.
- Knowledge of photography, retouching, and video editing to enhance visual content.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation for dynamic ad creatives.

Benefits & Compensation:
- £20,000 - £30,000 (based on experience).
