Sr. Influencer Marketing Manager – Gaming – Lifestyle – Esports – Tech - [Full Time, Remote]
Heaven Media is a UK-based marketing agency which delivers campaigns globally. We operate within the computer gaming and esports industry with specialist knowledge and experience within this market. The Influencer Marketing team at Heaven Media includes seven team members across five countries, who bring a wide variety of background skillsets including esports, events, social media, streaming, editing, community management and operations.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Director of Influencer & Community Management, the Sr. Influencer Marketing Manager (EU) will offer full-time support of influencer marketing campaigns for current Heaven Media clients.
Anchored in campaign execution, you will take a data driven approach to using software tools to suggest the right influencers for each campaign that are beneficial and are authentically connected to the client’s brand and business priorities as outlined in campaign brief. Your expertise in uncovering and providing unique influencers that fit each strategy and budget will be a critical part of any successful campaign, as well as providing projected performance metrics during the discovery process to ensure the influencer is likely in budget.
Beyond influencer discovery and approvals, running a highly organized content creation activation will include client meetings, creating an influencer brief, contracting, activating, and reporting the final performance metrics of the campaign to the client. The Sr. Influencer Marketing Manager will also align with account and project managers, their team lead, support team members, and ultimately accountable to the Director of Influencer & Community Management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interpret campaign briefs and adapt strategies as needed from pitches to suit the final resulting SOW for each client based on their needs.
- The deployment of marketing campaigns/campaign management
- Negotiate costs with suppliers, deliver value to our customers and ensure profitability by protecting company margin.
- Ensure quality, content, branding and targeting the right audience are delivered to the highest standard.
- Add value to the wider Influencer Marketing Team as an experienced Senior level manager.
- Collaborate with other members of the client services team and other departments to maximise opportunities, deliver service excellence, and ensure consistency and communication across the group.
- Measure and report performance against customer expectations/KPI’s following team standard reporting templates, while also including any bespoke reporting requests on a per client basis.
- Be familiar with on-platform content boosting, such as but not limited to TikTok’s Spark Ads.
- Understand how to calculate expected performance metrics and estimate costs based on the influencer discovery and the proposed content strategy.
- Have a strong understanding of YouTube, Twitch, IG, and TikTok creator universe(s).
- Understand the supporting role of platforms such as Twitter/X and Discord.
- To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.
- To support and participate in the formulation of standards and procedures for quality management and customer care expectations.
- To attend such training/personal development courses as may be considered necessary.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- In depth professional Influencer Marketing experience, at an agency or brand/publisher and significant experience within the Influencer space.
- Be willing to work flexible hours when needed and with notice, such as weekends.
- Have a background in gaming/tech, but understand lifestyle influencers as well.
- Be able to craft briefs about tech where you yourself understand the products (cpu, gpu, motherboards, cooling, etc and how these impact performance).
- Have a strong understanding of the culture of influencers, particularly gaming.
- Be comfortable taking risks, but be able to defend why you’re doing it.
- Ability to overcome ambiguity in a brief, relying on instinct and industry knowledge
- Highly skilled in time management. All work will have can’t-miss deadlines.
- Have a remote work setting with minimal distractions.
- Be just as comfortable working independently as you are working with a team.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Moderate to highly experienced with PowerPoint.
