Freelance UI/UX Designer (Wix/Wix Studio)

Position Summary

Heart & Soul Marketing is seeking a freelance UI/UX Designer with proven experience in Wix and Wix Studio to collaborate with our team on a contract basis. This is a flexible, project-driven opportunity for a designer who can blend creativity and technical expertise to craft websites and digital experiences that are both stunning and intuitive. You’ll help us bring ideas to life — from concept through launch — working alongside our creative and digital teams to deliver experiences that inspire and perform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom websites using Wix and Wix Studio with a focus on aesthetics, usability, and performance.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design direction.
• Implement responsive, mobile-first designs optimized for SEO, speed, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and development teams to ensure alignment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Wix websites for performance and usability.
• Stay current on UI/UX best practices and the latest features of Wix and Wix Studio.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine experiences.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience (freelance, agency, or in-house).
• Strong portfolio showcasing Wix/Wix Studio projects.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Expertise in responsive design, accessibility standards, and SEO principles.
• Experience collaborating remotely with creative teams and clients.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
• Motion/interaction design capabilities to enhance user engagement.
• Experience with analytics tools (Wix Analytics & Google Analytics).
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
