Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and execution for new and existing RCM platform capabilities.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and identify customer needs to enable competitive advantage.
• Prioritize product opportunities using well-defined criteria, quantifiable business value, and user insights.
• Establish clear product requirements, specifications, and use cases aligned to business goals.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring well-defined epics, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with engineering to evaluate technical approaches, API-driven integrations, microservices architecture, and scalable system design.
• Support technical teams by defining user journeys, guiding wireframes, and identifying solution patterns using best-practice API frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering on iteration planning, grooming sessions, and sprint reviews.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of healthcare protocols and standards including HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, X12, and RCM workflows (Eligibility, Claim, Denials, Payments, AR, Patient Financial Experience).
• Translate complex RCM functional workflows into product requirements and automation opportunities.
• Define product KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for product enhancements and lead structured improvement initiatives.
• Advocate for the customer and ensure product decisions are grounded in real user needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Technical Product Management roles, preferably in healthcare or RCM.
• Certifications in Agile/Scrum (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) are a plus.
• Strong hands-on exposure to APIs/Microservices architectures.
• Working knowledge of SQL for requirement discovery, data validation, and debugging.
• Experience with data pipelines, claim data schemas (837/835), and healthcare data transformation frameworks.
