Job Title: Video & Graphic Design Consultant
Overview
We’re seeking a highly creative Video & Graphic Design Consultant to lead the full lifecycle production of a ~2‑minute video. This specialist role combines motion graphics, storytelling, and branding expertise to produce visually compelling, on‑brand content.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client to define video goals, messaging, target audience, and style.
- Develop the creative concept, including script or narrative outline, and visual storyboard.
- Design static and motion graphic assets (illustrations, animated typography, infographics).
- Manage end-to-end video production: sourcing footage or animations, editing, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
- Deliver a polished final video with branding, color grading, audio optimization, and incorporation of client feedback.
- Maintain project documentation: scripts, storyboards, timelines, and asset inventories.
- Ensure visual consistency and high quality across final deliverables.
- Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure on‑time completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Motion Graphics, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design, ideally in consulting or agency settings.
- Strong motion graphics portfolio that includes kinetic typography, infographic animations, or explainer‑style videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills, including pacing, composition, and continuity.
- Strong communication skills for presenting storyboards, incorporating feedback, and explaining creative decisions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and project timelines independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with audio editing and sound design (e.g., editing voice-overs, background music, sound effects).
- Familiarity with branding and corporate identity systems.
- Up-to-date knowledge of video production trends and motion design best practices.
- Ability to adapt to different visual styles tailored to client branding.
- Experience with consulting on media deliverables or design strategy.
Deliverables
- Storyboard and accompanying script or narrative outline.
