Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced data warehouse solutions, BI applications, and enterprise-level data platforms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that provide actionable insights.

Please note - This is a 1099 contract position for a specific purpose with multiple clients. - 15 hours per week +

Key Responsibilities:

PowerApps Development: Lead the design and development of PowerApps and integrate them within existing workflows to deliver interactive, data-driven solutions.
BI Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI and Tableau, ensuring they meet business needs.
Data Warehouse Architecture: Architect data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence, data mining, and reporting, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
ETL & Data Integration: Develop and manage complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for integrating data from multiple source systems into the data warehouse.
Website & Application Development: Lead the development of enterprise websites and web-based applications that interact with BI systems and data warehouses, providing seamless user experiences.
Software Development: Contribute to application development using technologies such as Java, C#, and other programming languages to support backend services and BI systems.
Data Modeling: Create and manage data models, schemas, and database objects to ensure optimal performance for querying and reporting.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing, reporting, and application layers.
Collaboration & Strategy: Work with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to understand and address business requirements, providing technical expertise and thought leadership.
Documentation & Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI systems, data models, application architectures, and processes.
Support & Training: Provide support, training, and guidance on BI tools, PowerApps, website applications, and data models to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of solutions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of experience in BI architecture, app development, and dashboard/report design.
5+ years of hands-on experience in data warehouse architecture, including performance tuning and SSAS Models.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong experience with PowerApps development and integration.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.) and integration with BI platforms.
Extensive experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server and NoSQL.
Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS, etc.) and Agile methodologies.
