Full-Time Contractor / Employee | Remote | Melbourne Time Zone (UTC/GMT +10)

We are seeking a permanent full-time Product/ Project Manager and Consultant for our Medicinal Cannabis Projects. The role is to guide our clients to plan and set-up their medicinal cannabis businesses, provide consultation on regulatory compliance, develop policies and procedures, and obtain all the required licences and permits.

Responsibilities

The Medicinal Cannabis Product/ Project Manager will be the full owner of the product/service and will be responsible for developing the product scheme and providing all the related consultations to clients.

  • Responsible for preparing and submitting licence/permit applications, providing consultation to clients on regulatory requirements, assisting them to do business planning
  • Responsible for developing the product/service using the conducted research materials
  • Responsible for creating the process flows for the product/service
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating activities leading to the successful completion of all client projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
  • Responsible for setting up the required partnerships for the product scheme
  • Quality assurance and control
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
  • Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
  • Report and escalate to top management as and when needed
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project/product documentation
  • Ensure the product complies with the regulatory requirements
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure ongoing process improvement
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Qualifications & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Product/Project Manager with a wide range of skills:

  • At least three years of experience in project management
  • Prior experience launching or scaling healthcare businesses is highly desirable
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, developing policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Ability to liaise with regulatory authorities
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, including attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage and achieve goals and targets
  • Willingness to constantly learn and develop personal and professional skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
