User Experience Designer

Lead UI/UX Designer | California | Remote

We're working with a world-renowned entertainment powerhouse and pioneer in immersive storytelling on this exciting opportunity. We are building the 'digital front door' to a massive interactive universe, merging iconic global franchises into a groundbreaking new game experience.

This is a dream role for a visionary creator ready to lead UI/UX development using Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Verse. You will collaborate with elite industry talent to shape the next generation of digital entertainment across PC, Console, and Mobile platforms.

The Role

• Own the end-to-end UI implementation and UX strategy using Unreal Engine (UEG), UMG, and Verse scripting within a live service environment.

• Lead a cross-disciplinary pod of developers to design and iterate on interactive elements for some of the world’s most beloved IPs (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars).

• Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive mockups, and prototypes using Figma to define player journeys and game flows.

• Establish and maintain comprehensive UI style guidelines, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic across multiple game styles and experiences.

• Mentor junior designers and provide expert guidance on technical UI constraints within 3D game engines.

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of professional game development experience with at least one shipped AAA title in a Lead or Management capacity.

• Expert-level proficiency in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5), Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG), Blueprints, and/or Verse scripting language.

• Proven track record of developing and shipping high-quality UI/UX for Console, PC, and Mobile platforms.

• Mastery of Figma or similar industry-standard design tools for wireframing and prototyping.

• Deep passion for global entertainment franchises and an understanding of how to translate linear media aesthetics into interactive game interfaces.
