We're working with a premier federal IT transformer dedicated to modernizing government infrastructure on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a heavy-hitter to lead the charge in migrating legacy Oracle ADF systems into high-performance, cloud-native Angular and Spring Boot architectures.

This is a high-impact role where your expertise in Java and AWS will directly improve how citizens interact with essential government services. You will join an Agile team focused on precision, security, and cutting-edge digital transformation.

The Role

• Lead the end-to-end development of modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS to replace legacy enterprise systems.

• Design and implement robust backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC within an AWS cloud environment.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using core AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.

• Optimize data persistence across diverse environments, utilizing SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.

• Participate in rigorous code reviews and provide technical mentorship to ensure adherence to modern software compliance and security standards.

What You'll Need

• 12+ years of professional software development experience (Bachelor’s degree required) with a mastery of Object-Oriented Programming and Multithreading.

• Deep expertise in the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot/MVC) and modern frontend frameworks (Angular 2+, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3).

• Proven track record of migrating legacy applications (specifically Oracle ADF or JSF-based systems) to modern equivalents.

• Strong hands-on experience deploying and managing production workloads on AWS with a solid grasp of RESTful API design.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship typically required for this process).
