The Role

• Design and implement mission-critical robotic software components across perception, path planning, and decision-making logic.
• Develop high-performance algorithms for control systems within a complex autonomous robotics platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Embedded Systems Engineers and AI/ML specialists to integrate robust flight software.
• Conduct rigorous validation and testing to meet stringent safety-critical and aerospace-grade performance standards.
• Shape the technical roadmap of the robotics platform from an early-stage startup environment.

What You'll Need

• Strong background in Robotics Software Engineering with specific experience in Flight Software or Autonomous Systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time robotic applications and algorithm development.
• Solid understanding of robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2 and experience with perception and control loops.
• Eligibility to obtain SC Clearance (UK citizenship/residency requirements apply) and right to work in the UK.
• A degree (BSc/MSc) in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.
