This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical MLOps expertise and strategic stakeholder management to drive tangible patient outcomes using Python, R, and low-code automation.

The Role

• Lead the end-to-end deployment and scaling of AI/ML models, intelligent agents, and automation scripts across the global R&D organization.

• Partner directly with R&D heads and digital leads to identify, prototype, and productionize high-value AI use cases that accelerate drug discovery.

• Architect and optimize robust MLOps processes, ensuring seamless system validation and rigorous governance for responsible AI deployment.

• Drive the integration of advanced analytics platforms and track critical success metrics, including model performance, user adoption, and ROI.

• Spearhead internal capability building, leading hackathons and training sessions to foster an AI-first culture among world-class scientists.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, or Data Engineering, ideally within Life Sciences or a complex R&D environment.

• Hands-on mastery of Python or R, with deep experience building production-grade machine learning pipelines and agent-based automation tools.

• Strong technical background in MLOps tools, data science frameworks, and modern low-code automation platforms.

• Proven track record of navigating complex stakeholder environments and translating business requirements into technical AI solutions.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
