Lead Data Scientist

This is a chance to spearhead the development of a world-class AI platform that leverages multi-modal LLMs and expert-tagged datasets to transform customer service speed and accuracy. You will lead a high-performing team in pushing the boundaries of Computer Vision and Video Analysis, scaling globally to solve complex, real-world visual challenges using a cutting-edge Azure ML stack.
The Role
- Lead the technical direction for machine learning initiatives, focusing on high-impact Computer Vision and multi-modal LLM solutions.
- Architect and productionise end-to-end ML pipelines on Azure, ensuring full scalability, reproducibility, and rigorous model monitoring.
- Develop and fine-tune advanced models for object detection, image classification, and segmentation using PyTorch.
- Drive the strategy for experimentation and prototyping, translating business goals into technical ML roadmaps.
- Mentor a talented team of Data Scientists, fostering best practices in coding, CI/CD, and model evaluation.
What You'll Need
- 6+ years of experience in Data Science/ML with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or Lead Data Scientist role.
- Deep expertise in training and deploying Computer Vision models (Object Detection, Segmentation) into live production environments.
- Proven track record with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and productionising multi-modal models.
- Extensive hands-on experience with MLOps on Azure, including Azure CLI, FastAPI, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Python programming skills and mastery of deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
