Data Science Analyst

The Role

• Work within the Healthcare team, partnering with Global Industry Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
• Translate investment questions into testable data science workflows and analytical outputs.
• Apply AI and agentic tools to streamline research and contribute to investment idea generation.
• Communicate complex results clearly, including limitations and interpretation risk.
• Serve as an experienced data science resource for the Healthcare team's coverage areas.
• Develop differentiated signals and analytical frameworks from alternative and structured datasets.

What You'll Need

• 3-5+ years of experience in data science, alternative data, or investment research.
• Prior experience working with investment teams or senior business stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Comfort with AI/LLM tooling and agentic workflows, applying them to research processes.
• Experience working with large, messy, real-world datasets and evaluating their quality.
• Genuine investment acumen and curiosity about markets, companies, and data's role in investment theses.
