Join a high-impact Agile squad where you will design and evolve high-performance, cloud-native systems using Node.js and Azure. This is a hands-on technical role offering real architectural influence and the chance to own complex integrations end-to-end within a secure, mission-critical environment.

The Role

• Lead the technical design and development of scalable backend services using Node.js and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure within Azure, ensuring high availability and performance for public-facing services.
• Automate environment provisioning and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to streamline deployment workflows.
• Drive CI/CD excellence by managing Jenkins pipelines and ensuring robust automated testing is integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence to manage sprint delivery, incident response, and change management.

What You'll Need

• Current and active SC Clearance is mandatory for this role due to the nature of the government projects.
• Deep expertise in backend development with Node.js and frontend familiarity with Angular (component architecture and state management).
• Proven experience in Azure cloud design, including managing scalable infrastructure and environment automation with Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in DevOps tools including Jenkins for CI/CD, Git for advanced branching strategies, and Jira for Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for mentoring junior engineers and leading design discussions within a fast-paced Agile environment.
