AI Software Engineer

We are working with a lean, rapidly scaling startup that is at the forefront of innovation, building a cutting-edge workflow and intelligence platform. This platform is powered by advanced agentic AI, sophisticated multimodal analysis, and deep domain-specific insights, poised to disrupt its industry.

The Role

• Develop and implement end-to-end architecture, security, performance, and integrations for AI applications.
• Build production systems leveraging deep Firebase expertise (Firestore, Cloud Run, Auth, Security Rules).
• Work closely with the Head of Product to transform specifications and prototypes into production-grade code.
• Lead the growth of the engineering function, including hiring, structuring, and mentoring a team.
• Drive the technical vision and strategy, with a clear trajectory to assume the CTO position as the company expands.

What You'll Need

• Proven expertise in Firebase, having built and scaled production systems, not just prototypes.
• Demonstrable experience building and deploying complex AI applications using leading LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end architecture, security, performance, and integration within a cloud environment.
• Ability to translate well-defined specs and prototypes into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as pgvector, ChromaDB, or Pinecone is a plus.
