Your New Role

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and scaling the infrastructure that powers modern, cloud-native applications. You’ll work across infrastructure and backend layers—building resilient systems, enabling developer productivity, and supporting high-performing engineering teams.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform (infrastructure-as-code, secure and reproducible environments)
• Develop and support backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
• Work with MongoDB and Postgres to ensure performance, availability, and reliability
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Build reusable infrastructure modules and internal tooling to accelerate engineering teams
• Own platform features end-to-end: design → build → deploy → monitor → support in production
• Collaborate within a 100% remote, async-first environment with high ownership and autonomy

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production systems
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
• Backend development experience with Node.js / TypeScript (NestJS preferred)
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Familiarity with MongoDB and/or Postgres in scalable environments
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong communication skills in distributed teams and async workflows
• A proactive mindset—comfortable identifying problems and owning solutions
• Passion for improving systems, developer experience, and platform capabilities
