As a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer (Polarion) you will:

• Analyze business needs/requirements, propose solution concepts and implement them.
• Configure and/or customize Polarion in alignment with the IT Product Owner and Architect.
• Carry out developer tests (component test, module test, unit test) and create the according test documentation.
• Support data migration (Extract, Transform & Load) from PTC RV&S to Siemens Polarion in alignment with business and IT stakeholders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot all components of Polarion application (infrastructure, application performance, data quality, etc.).
• Create and maintain technical system documentation, operating instructions and manuals.
• Provide 3rd level support for Polarion and investigate/resolve root causes of incidents.

What you need to succeed:

• International experience in PLM with Siemens Polarion platform.
• 3-4 years of professional experience in the PLM field, from which at least 1 year of experience with Siemens Polarion.
• Sound knowledge in programming languages Java, C#, API development.
• Experience in programming using REST APIs.
• Experience in configuration and customization of functionalities in Polarion.
• Independent and reliable solution-oriented way of working.
• Nice to have knowledge in project management basics.
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
