Responsibilities
- Develop the vision by doing discovery and research
- Stay on the forefront of industry trends, providing new ideas
- Manage and lead end to end design
- Work closely with product managers and other teams (sales and marketing) to establish plan for product release.
- Acknowledge budget and make plans in order to follow financial guidelines
- Create product prototypes prior to creating final product
- Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years' experience in product design--B2B SaaS preferred
- At least 5 years' experience designing products using modern frameworks
- Deep experience with Figma, Adobe, etc.
- Experience doing user research to understand user needs, behaviors and pain points
- Deep experience with common web patterns and foundations
- Strong creative, design and communication skills
- Portfolio of work detailing design work and creative problem solving with an eye for detail
- Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG
