We are hiring a HVAC and MEP Engineer/Project Manager (m/f/d)

We are one of Europe’s leading logistics providers specializing in temperature-controlled food logistics. Our infrastructure ensures that fresh, chilled, and frozen goods reach customers reliably and efficiently — across national and international markets. To support our ongoing growth and maintain high technical standards, we are seeking an experienced Engineer with expertise in Technical Building Services (HVAC, MEP) to help lead and coordinate international construction and expansion projects within our logistics network.

Your Responsibilities

Overall engineering services for technical installations, mainly refrigeration and HVAC in new construction and refurbishment projects across our international logistics real estate portfolio.
Preparation of tender documents for refrigeration systems in collaboration with external planners and consultants. Selection, coordination, and supervision of refrigeration contractors during project execution
Ongoing development of technical standards for refrigeration and HVAC, electrical installations and related building services. Further improvement of energy efficiency.
Managing and overseeing external stakeholders including general contractors, project developers, and investors.
Providing support and technical advice to the internal project team on all topics related to technical building services.
Ensuring technical alignment with architectural planning and facility operations while coordinating all interfaces during the construction of food logistics facilities.
Ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget targets.
Implementation of legal and technical standards for hygiene, cooling, and energy efficiency — tailored to local requirements.
Development of sustainable and future-proof technical concepts for food logistics facilities.

Your profile

University degree in Technical Building Equipment, HVAC Engineering, Energy Systems, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in managing complex MEP and HVAC projects, preferably in the logistics or food industry
Solid expertise in refrigeration and climate control systems and food safety regulations
Familiarity with international construction standards and practices
Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel internationally and ability to work in multicultural environments
Strong organizational skills, independent working style, and a high level of initiative
