Job Title: Principal Web UX Designer(W2 or 1099 Only)

Location: Remote – PST Time

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Must :

• Products in a web container, 6+ years in Web Design
• HTML, Drupal, CSS
• Marketing Website
• understands Content Management Systems, worked in Design Systems, can create design assets, and can also create motion graphics.
• CMS- Work in Drupal
• Illustrator (creating Assets) and Figma

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.

• Ensure all web pages are on-brand and communicate clearly.

• Create design assets like graphics and short animations for web pages.

• Build within our CMS functionality and follow our web design system.

• Collaborate with project management and stakeholder teams to ensure designs meet project objectives.

• Work closely with the Content Strategy team to create page layouts.

• Provide assets and specifications for our web producers, using Figma.

• Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG) to web designs.

• Manage projects and meet deadlines.

• Understand marketing initiatives and target audiences to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a senior-level web design role.

• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, layout, color, and consistency.

• Expertise in using design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Thorough understanding of digital marketing and web design principles.

• Knowledge of emerging web UI patterns.

• Experience with modern UX frameworks and design systems.

• Ability to apply accessibility best practices (WCAG).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas to various team members.

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong file organization and graphic production skills.

• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with motion (After Effects, SVG animations).

• Web knowledge (HTML, CSS, Drupal CMS).

• Knowledge of Smartsheet or similar Work Management software.

• Experience with creating imagery of SaaS UI, and data visualization.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $50/Hr to $55/Hr with Limited benefits
