Senior Java Software Engineer

Location: Poland, Remote

Contract Type: B2B, 12 months

Salary: up to 1200PLNnet+vat/DAY

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps capabilities to help design, build, and optimize high-performance backend systems. In this role, you’ll work on scalable services, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery pipelines, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Java-based interfaces and backend services with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain integration scripts ensuring smooth data and system interoperability.
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Extend and refine automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, regression) to maintain high software quality.
• Develop and maintain Ansible roles to standardize deployment and configuration processes.
• Contribute to a DevOps culture centered on automation, shared ownership, and agile delivery.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 17+, Maven, JUnit5).
• Hands-on experience with Python and Ansible (1+ year each).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality assurance tools.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, with solid command-line and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and PostgreSQL; exposure to C++ is a plus.
• Familiarity with real-time or event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) is advantageous.
