Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager with a background in cloud hardware. You’ll help manage new cloud hardware products from start to finish, making sure they stay on budget and on time. You’ll work closely with other teams, including hardware project managers, engineers, and finance, to make sure everything runs smoothly

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud hardware projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budge
• Manage the program’s budget, including both operational and capital expense
• Work with project managers, engineers, and finance to keep everyone aligned and informed
• Use tools like Excel and Power BI to track and report project progress
• Drive improvements in processes using methods like Six Sigma to make the projects more efficiency

Qualification

• The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of industry experience, with 5 to 7 years in engineering program management
• Candidates should have a process engineering mindset, possibly with Six Sigma or PMP certification, and be savvy with budget management
• The role requires strong communication skills to interact with senior leader
• The program manager will work closely with project managers to understand hardware requirements, forecast budgets, and track execution. Familiarity with terms like OpEx and CapEx is essential
• Familiarity with cloud hardware (Familiarity with silicon development is beneficial for understanding the hardware side of cloud project
• The program manager may not directly deal with silicon design but having experience in this area is helpful for understanding hardware integration.
