Senior Marketing Manager, Europe - Medical Device
Hartmann Young is partnered with a rapidly growing medical device manufacturer, innovating in dysphagia therapy. They're looking to add a Senior Marketing Manager to their team in Europe, to lead commercial strategy from development through to implementation, expanding their footprint beyond the UKI and DACH regions.
The role
- Develop and execute downstream marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business and commercial objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and support to the field sales team through marketing plans, presentations, and ongoing communication.
- Manage European marketing campaigns, convention strategy, and collateral, ensuring product messaging and value proposition are tailored to regional needs and compliant with EU MDR requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across European markets and lead regional KOL programs.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership on product positioning, pricing, and segmentation, providing recommendations based on market insights.
- Monitor and analyse KPIs to identify trends and opportunities, recommending updates to strategy, marketing initiatives, and sales priorities.
- Engage with field teams and customers at medical education events, congresses, and site visits to gather clinical and business insights.
- Lead market access research and implementation initiatives, including HEOR and reimbursement projects, and update strategies and tools based on findings.
The person
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven, progressive experience (7+ years) in medical device marketing role(s), including responsibility for multiple markets within Europe.
- Experience in downstream marketing including successful scaled product launches.
- Familiarity with facility approval processes and reimbursement across multiple European markets.
- Ability to quickly and confidently establish credibility with customers and within the organization and work with sales, R&D and cross-functional teams throughout the company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to travel within region, up to 50%.
