Hartmann Young has been exclusively retained by a fast-growing consumer wellness company with an innovative portfolio of functional nutrition products.

Renowned for quality and innovation, the business is expanding rapidly across Australia and New Zealand, with plans for wider global growth.

We are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead brand, digital and commercial marketing for products supporting pre-workout performance, energy management and active lifestyles. This is a key executive hire to drive market expansion and consumer engagement in a dynamic, high-growth category.

The Opportunity

You will own the marketing strategy, building brand awareness and driving revenue across

Australia and New Zealand, whilst laying the foundation for international expansion. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will launch products, deliver go-to-market campaigns and tailor strategies to diverse consumer segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for functional performance products
  • Lead launches, digital campaigns and influencer programmes targeting active and wellness-focused consumers
  • Collaborate with Sales and R&D to align marketing with innovation and consumer trends (clean energy, nootropics, adaptogens)
  • Analyse market and consumer data to refine campaigns and optimise ROI
  • Manage budgets and build a high-performing regional marketing team

Required Experience

  • 8+ years’ marketing leadership in functional food, beverage or performance nutrition
  • Proven track record launching and scaling energy or performance-oriented products
  • Strong digital, social and omni-channel marketing expertise
  • Excellent leadership and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Commercially driven, data-led and agile in a fast-growth environment
