Senior Software Engineer

Senior PHP Engineer | European Fintech | €55-70K | Fully Remote (EU)

I'm working with a fast-growing European fintech company that's scaling its engineering team and looking for experienced Senior PHP Engineers to join remotely from anywhere in the EU.

The Company

They're an established fintech platform with 175M+ users across Europe, backed by VCs and expanding rapidly. They're building the next generation of consumer finance products with a modern tech stack and a remote-first engineering culture.

The Role

You'll be building core features for their consumer finance platform, working on:

• Migrating legacy systems to modern architecture
• Building scalable APIs and microservices
• Payment integrations and financial workflows
• High-volume transaction processing

Tech Stack:

• Backend: PHP
• Frontend: Vue.js or React, TypeScript
• Infrastructure: MySQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, CI/CD
• Modern practices: TDD, microservices, event-driven architecture

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial PHP experience
• Strong Laravel or Symfony background
• Modern JavaScript (Vue.js or React preferred)
• Experience building and owning features end-to-end
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in remote teams
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Fintech, payments, or e-commerce experience
