Staff Software Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer (3–5 positions) Golang/Python

Location: Fully remote – US only

Employment type: Full-time

Compensation: $250,000 base plus equity

One of the companies in our portfolio has just closed out a huge funding round and are now in the process of building a world class engineering team.

Their platform is a next-generation AI-powered enterprise system that helps large organizations automatically process and act on huge volumes of complex, fast-moving data. It works as an intelligent, autonomous layer that handles high-volume workflows, pulls context from multiple enterprise sources and tools, follows exact customer-defined processes, integrates deeply with platforms like ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Databricks, and delivers fast, accurate, fully documented results so teams can focus on important decisions instead of manual work.

Experience Required:

• 6+ years backend engineering - Golang/Python
• Enterprise B2B SaaS experience (not consumer)
• Strong preference for data/analytics, BI, data infrastructure, or integration platforms
• Startup / early-growth background (ideally <100 people when joined)
• Solid tenure & progression (no pattern of very short stints)
• Strong fundamentals: APIs, services, data pipelines, distributed systems

Day to Day:

• Own and ship major product features end-to-end
• Build & maintain enterprise integrations (ServiceNow, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Write backend services, APIs, data pipelines
• Work on intelligent system components (reasoning, retrieval, orchestration)
• Collaborate in small team - high ownership, fast shipping
• Occasionally handle platform/infra tasks to unblock progress
