Senior Marketing Lead

Web3 / Fintech / Digital Assets / DeFi

Remote (EU)

An emerging player in institutional DeFi is hiring a Senior Marketing Lead to shape and execute the brand’s end-to-end marketing strategy. Backed by a well-capitalised investment group, the business builds Web3-native infrastructure, protocols, and tools that combine institutional-grade standards with broad market accessibility. With products in development across DeFi and tokenised finance, the business is entering a critical phase of growth and go-to-market activity.

The Role

As Senior Marketing Lead, you’ll take ownership of brand strategy, content execution, and partner communications across digital channels. Reporting into senior leadership, you will work alongside product, commercial, and engineering teams to define the firm’s voice in the institutional crypto space. You’ll also manage external agency partners and play a key role in driving visibility across global Web3 and financial communities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments and can blend long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to the company’s growth roadmap
  • Lead execution across core marketing channels, including content, digital, social, media outreach, and events
  • Build relationships with industry press, influencers, and thought leaders to amplify the brand’s presence
  • Work closely with product teams to craft go-to-market plans for launches and ecosystem initiatives
  • Manage external marketing partners and vendors, ensuring high standards and consistent messaging
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for marketing performance, with regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure all content and communications meet legal, regulatory, and brand requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business development, ecosystem engagement, and investor relations
  • Support leadership on token-related communications ahead of planned ecosystem launches
  • Represent the firm in relevant DeFi, digital asset, and Web3 communities as a credible voice and advocate

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Deep understanding of the blockchain, DeFi, or Web3 ecosystem—ideally with hands-on experience in institutional or infrastructure-layer projects
  • Strong B2B marketing foundation, ideally within financial services, fintech, or SaaS
  • Proven success building and executing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical, investor, and non-technical audiences
  • Experienced managing agency or freelance partners across content, PR, and creative
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong grasp of marketing analytics and KPIs
  • Confident in managing time-sensitive campaigns in a high-growth, startup-like environment
  • Familiarity with token launches, Web3 community building, and digital asset regulations is a plus
