Civil Project Manager - Data Center, and Mission Critical Facilities

I'm partnered up with a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy that specializes in Land Development for Data Centers across the USA. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead projects for land development in the Mission Critical & Commercial Sectors. As a team lead, you will be reporting directly to the COO, and you will be responsible for managing the design, permitting, and construction of infrastructure that supports large-scale data centers.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the design and construction of site infrastructure for large-scale data center projects, including grading, drainage, roads, utilities, and other site improvements.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that site infrastructure meets project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Managing permitting processes and working with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conducting site investigations, feasibility studies, and cost analyses to determine project viability.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Providing technical support to other professionals involved in data center projects, such as electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Ensuring that the site infrastructure is designed to support the critical power and cooling requirements of data centers.
• Collaborating with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to integrate site infrastructure into the overall data center design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development for data centers.
• Proven experience managing projects and teams, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of the critical power and cooling requirements of data centers.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations and permitting requirements for land development projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical data and develop creative solutions.
• Willingness to travel and work in different locations as required.
