They are seeking a Senior Marketing Data Scientist with deep expertise in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to join their growing analytics function. This is an impactful role focused on evaluating and optimizing marketing investments across multiple channels in a highly regulated and complex industry.
The Role
In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced Marketing Mix Models to evaluate the ROI of multi-channel marketing efforts—including digital, TV, print, and field sales—across various therapeutic areas. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, commercial, and finance stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions that maximize brand performance and accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to quantify the impact of promotional activities on brand performance and sales.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of omnichannel campaigns, supporting optimization of marketing spend across touchpoints.
- Leverage Python, R, and SQL for statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and data processing.
- Create clear, compelling dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to share insights with business stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate modeling insights into broader commercial strategies and planning cycles.
- Stay current with MMM best practices, ensuring models are rigorous, scalable, and compliant with pharmaceutical industry standards.
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data science, with significant hands-on experience in MMM.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R, as well as SQL, for large-scale data analysis and modeling.
- Deep understanding of marketing measurement techniques, including MMM, media attribution, and campaign optimization.
- Experience working in or with pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing teams is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical audiences and influence senior stakeholders.
