THE ROLE
As a Senior/Principal Software Engineer, you'll be tasked with designing and building scalable systems to ingest and process large-scale multimodal data generated in the company's laboratory. Your work will directly support the integration of computational biology, data science, and machine learning efforts, driving innovation in precision immunotherapy.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- System Design & Development: Build and maintain data ingestion, processing, and observability systems with lab and computational biology teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data science, computational biology, and ML teams to create scalable tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Data Infrastructure: Ensure data pipelines are robust, efficient, and scalable for large data volumes.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Design production-grade software solutions to meet internal data consumer needs, ensuring high-quality systems.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must-Have:
- Expertise in AWS (SageMaker a plus)
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with large-scale data ingestion and processing systems
- Hands-on with cloud-based data pipelines (AWS)
- Strong background in data visualization infrastructure
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven problem-solving ability and track record of delivering impactful software solutions.
- Ownership of an entire scope of a project
Nice-to-Have:
- Biotech or scientific experience
- Data Lake Tech: Spark, Ray or Iceberg
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, DBT, or Dagster
- Experience in environments with internal data consumers and cross-functional team collaboration.
