Lead Data Scientist Consultant

We’re working with a company at the forefront of applied AI, delivering advanced GenAI and LLM solutions for enterprise clients. Their work includes speech-to-text transformation, anonymisation, and KPI extraction using state-of-the-art models — all within a remote-first, delivery-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead GenAI/LLM-based projects from scoping to deployment
• Manage and mentor teams of 3–5 data scientists
• Engage directly with clients to translate needs into technical solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps on production-grade systems
• Contribute to business development and pre-sales discussions

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, and NLP techniques
• Excellent Python and software engineering skills
• Strong consulting or client-facing experience
• Proven track record leading delivery teams
• UK-based (Edinburgh preferred), remote-first flexibility
