You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business leaders to translate intricate requirements into seamless, intuitive, and cohesive digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Figma Ecosystem Management: Serve as the core expert in Figma, leveraging advanced features (variables, auto-layout, component properties, interactive prototyping) to build scalable, high-fidelity design solutions.
- Design System Orchestration: Own, govern, and scale large, complex design systems. Ensure cross-product UI consistency, accessibility compliance, and smooth handoff processes between design and engineering.
- Client Advocacy & Stakeholder Management: Confidently demonstrate, articulate, and defend design concepts, user journeys, and strategic design rationales directly to executive clients to secure alignment and formal approvals.
- User Research & Synthesis: Lead user research, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing to uncover deep user insights and transform them into actionable design strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and technical architects to define product direction, balance user needs with technical feasibility, and ensure high-fidelity implementation in an Agile environment.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor mid-level and junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence, continuous learning, and process optimization.
Mandatory Skills
- Deep Figma Expertise: Exceptional proficiency in Figma is non-negotiable. You must have deep experience utilizing it for complex UI layouts, robust prototyping, and managing shared team libraries.
- Large-Scale Design Systems: Proven track record of architecting, maintaining, or heavily contributing to extensive, multi-brand, or enterprise-level design systems.
- Client-Facing Communication: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills. The ability to manage client feedback loop effectively and manage expectations is crucial.
- Advanced UX/UI Architecture: Master-level capability in creating responsive web and mobile layouts, wireframes, detailed user flows, and high-fidelity micro-interactions.
- User-Centered Methodologies: Strong foundations in design thinking, cognitive walkthroughs, information architecture, and structured problem-solving.
Preferred Skills
- Design Thinking Frameworks: Certification or structured experience in driving Design Thinking workshops with clients and internal teams.
- Accessibility (a11y): Strong familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and designing for inclusive digital experiences.
- Agile Integration: Deep understanding of integrating design sprints seamlessly into technical Agile/Scrum development lifecycles.
- Development Literacy: A strong conceptual understanding of front-end technologies (component-driven development, CSS tokens) to bridge the gap between design and code.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience in UI/UX design, with a significant portion spent in senior or lead consultant-level capacities.
- Education: Bachelor?s or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or an equivalent specialization. Professional certifications (e.g., HFI, UX-Master) are highly valued.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design frameworks for complex ecosystems, meticulous Figma organization, design system governance models, and real-world client success stories.
