About Halon:
At Halon, our mission is straightforward, yet powerful and complex: empower businesses through Dynamic Email Operations. In an era where email is still the most important communications channel for business success, we provide fully-secure solutions that power innovation with flexibility, scalability and control.
To continue on this path, we are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who enjoys building structure, owning narratives, and turning complexity into clarity.
By 2026, we want Halon to be the category authority in modern email infrastructure the source analysts cite, LLMs trust, and buyers turn to before they swap out their email stack.
Product marketing is a big part of that. That’s where you come in.
About the Role:
As Product Marketing Manager, you will build and own Product Marketing at Halon.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll establish the foundations, frameworks, and ways of working for Product Marketing — from positioning and messaging to go-to-market execution and sales enablement.
You’ll be Halon’s narrative owner and trend spotter, tracking market shifts, customer needs, competitor moves, and emerging themes across email infrastructure, security, and AI. You’ll translate those signals into clear value propositions, themes, and narratives that guide what Halon says and how we say it.
You’ll work at the intersection of Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Organic Discovery, and MarComms, ensuring our value is clear, consistent, and compelling across every touchpoint.
Industry experience is essential. We’re looking for someone who understands email infrastructure, email security, deliverability, MTAs, or closely related domains — and knows how to turn complexity into clarity.
What You´ll Do:
- Build and own Product Marketing at Halon, including messaging frameworks, positioning by segment and vertical, and clear linkage between product capabilities and customer pain points.
- Act as Halon’s narrative owner and trend spotter: monitor market, customer, competitor, and AI-driven signals and turn them into core narratives, themes, and messaging directions.
- Own product positioning, value propositions, and differentiation, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, credible, and reflected across all channels.
- Lead go-to-market for features and product updates, including messaging, target audiences, content, and sales enablement, in close collaboration with Product, Sales, Demand Gen, and MarComms.
- Build and maintain sales enablement and competitive intelligence so Sales clearly understands what we sell, who we sell to, and why Halon wins.
- Gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights and feed them back into positioning, GTM strategy, and product roadmap discussions.
- Work closely with Organic Discovery to ensure product narratives are reflected in canonical, organic, and LLM-optimized content and flagship authority assets.
- Be the primary creator of Product Marketing content: expect to write a high volume of original copy and assets yourself — from narrative docs and enablement to GTM pages, briefs, decks, competitive intel, and canonical/LLM-facing authority content.
- Define and package Halon’s positioning against real buying alternatives, not just competitors.
- Own how Halon is positioned in sales conversations, analyst narratives, and buyer evaluation moments.
What You´ll Bring:
- 5–8+ years of Product Marketing experience in email infrastructure, email security, deliverability, MTAs, or closely related technical domains.
- Proven experience building or scaling Product Marketing functions.
- Strong ability to translate deep technical products into clear business value and differentiated narratives.
- Ownership experience across positioning, messaging, go-to-market, sales enablement, and competitive differentiation.
- A structured, hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset, with excellent written and verbal English and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Experience influencing revenue outcomes (pipeline, win rate, deal velocity), not just launches or content.
- German language skills are a plus.
What You´ll Love Working at Halon:
- Build Product Marketing from the ground up at a company defining its category.
- Shape Halon’s narrative, positioning, and how the market — including analysts and LLMs — understands our value.
- Have direct impact on revenue, sales effectiveness, and market perception.
- Join a growing company where roles evolve with ownership, variety, and real room to turn insight into impact.
We welcome applications from people of all genders, backgrounds, and identities.
