Sr. UX/UI Designer with AI experience

We are seeking a visionary AI Experience Engineer to own the end-to-end user experience strategy and design execution for AI-powered internal tools, including chat agents, insight delivery, and context-aware workflows. This role operates at the intersection of advanced AI technology and human-centered design, crafting AI experiences that reduce time to insights and catalyze decision-making for business users.

Key Responsibilities

AI Experience Design & Development

• Architect core GenAI UX/UI designs to interact with chatbots, summarization tools, document processing interfaces, and other GenAI features
• Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for prompt creation, feedback mechanisms, and exploration of AI-generated results
• Implement adaptive UI elements that dynamically adjust to confidence levels, response structure, and AI model outputs
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and comprehensive user flows to guide product development

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to embed design-aware intelligence in decision-making tools
• Collaborate with business teams to incorporate AI into their weekly workflows and operational cadences
• Work with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into intuitive design solutions
• Maintain design fidelity during development through close partnership with engineering teams

User Experience Optimization

• Champion user-centered design methodologies and advocate for best practices across the organization
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design decisions and continuous improvements
• Optimize user workflows to enhance comprehension, build trust, and enable iterative refinement of AI outputs
• Implement telemetry and user feedback loops for continuous improvement and system optimization

Technical Implementation

• Lead technical design components using modern CSS frameworks, embedding safety mechanisms (autonomy sliders, grounding checks, model monitoring)
• Develop applications using React or Vue.js, leveraging state management solutions (Redux, Zustand) for seamless user experiences
• Create and maintain a library of reusable UI components for building and scaling AI-powered applications

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in UX/UI development, with 3+ years in data, enterprise, or AI product environments
• Proven ability to lead development of AI experiences from concept to completion

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and modern CSS libraries (Tailwind, Bootstrap)
• Strong experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
• Deep understanding of design systems, design token management, and scalable UI architectures
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch) and prototyping methodologies
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts)

AI & Domain Expertise

• Strong portfolio demonstrating LLM/AI interactions, system design, and user experience experimentation
• Understanding of prompt design, fallback UX patterns, and AI transparency models
• Experience designing interfaces for GenAI tools, AI agents, or NLP systems
• Familiarity with telemetry implementation and user feedback loop systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with ability to present UX strategies and research insights to executive leadership
• Strong time management skills with ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
