The Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist / ML Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models.

This is a 100% remote position on a 12-month extendable contract, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agent-based architectures for intelligent automation in financial services.
• Develop, train, and fine-tune LLMs and other ML models for production-grade performance.
• Apply advanced statistical and mathematical modeling to improve predictive accuracy and financial decision-making.
• Leverage market and behavioral data to drive innovation in ML applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML solutions into the platform.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure ML systems are efficient, interpretable, and aligned with ethical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data science or ML engineering, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Proven experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) and their deployment in production environments.
• Familiarity with AI agents and autonomous systems is a strong plus.
• Solid foundation in statistics, optimization, and numerical methods.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and Scikit-Learn.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and portfolio optimization is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
