THE WORK
Serve as an engineer in the, Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW) and Acoustic Sensors (REAS) group. An engineer in the REAS group designs, models, builds, tests, and integrates high‑performance sensing and electronic‑warfare systems. The role blends RF/acoustic physics, advanced signal‑processing, hardware/software development, and systems‑engineering practices to deliver mission‑critical capabilities for air, land, and maritime platforms.

Standard Job Description : Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Typical Minimums : Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
