Senior Golang Developer

We're hiring a technically skilled, self-driven Golang developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience. In this role, you'll develop highly efficient, scalable code using Go, working within an agile environment where adaptability, ownership, and clear communication matter. You'll take features from concept through rollout, balancing new feature development with enhancing our existing codebase, and stay curious about emerging tools and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Core Development:

-Develop scalable backend services in Go using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Kafka messaging

-Design decoupled architecture and implement correct design patterns for high-concurrency, real-time message delivery

-Build proof-of-concept solutions for complex technical problems

• AI Enablement:

- Explore, prototype, and integrate AI-driven features using Python-based AI frameworks

• Quality & Performance:

-Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality

-Analyze and optimize existing codebase for performance, scalability, and security

-Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bug reports in a timely manner

• Collaboration & Leadership:

-Work with Product Owners to clarify requirements and design backend solutions

-Collaborate with QA on test strategy and DevOps on CI/CD pipeline optimization

-Mentor junior backend engineers in Go development and best practices

• Growth:

- Stay current with Go ecosystem and microservices architecture trends

Requirements:

Experience & Technical Skills:

-         5+ years of hands-on experience in backend/Web API development using Go

-         Strong proficiency in Go; hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Azure

-         Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message-driven systems (Kafka), Kubernetes

Development Practices:

-         Experience with Agile methodologies, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA, and CI/CD practices

-         Comfortable with test automation and continuous deployment workflows

Soft Skills & Attributes:

-         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about system design

-         Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams

-         Self-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying improvements

-         Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice-to-Have:

-         Experience with event-driven architecture or stream processing

-         Understanding of API design patterns and mobile/frontend integration points

-         Proficiency in Python with hands-on exposure to AI/LLM frameworks and tools, specifically LangChain, LangGraph, and Langfuse

-         Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines or multi-agent workflows

-         Understanding of AI observability, evaluation, and tracing techniques

Education:

-         Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent professional experience
