Software Engineer - Python

Our client, a cutting-edge technology company based in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong Python development experience. This is a fully remote position open to U.S.-based candidates. The role involves working on scalable backend systems, tools, and APIs in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and backend services using Python
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical strategy

Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Python (3+ years preferred)
• Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django)
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD tools, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• B,S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in data engineering or ML/AI workflows
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue)
