Software Engineer

Our client is a rapidly growing e-commerce company based in Santa Clara, CA, looking to bring on a TypeScript Developer to help expand and maintain their customer-facing platform and internal tooling. This is a highly collaborative team environment, ideal for engineers who enjoy building clean, scalable code and want to make an immediate impact. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA but can be fully remote for qualified candidates in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver new features
• Optimize application performance and improve code maintainability
• Write unit and integration tests for critical components
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and staging environments

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in web development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
• Version control experience using Git

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working in an e-commerce or consumer-facing product environment
• Familiarity with Node.js and backend services
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
• Experience with testing libraries such as Jest or Cypress
