Senior Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a skilled Java Engineer to join their team. While the company is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, this position is fully remote for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with Spring or similar Java frameworks
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Agile methodologies
