Lead/ Head of Product Design

What You’ll Do

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define and champion the design vision for Grvt across all user touchpoints
• Drive the evolution of our product experience, balancing functional clarity with emotional impact
• Explore and apply design principles from outside fintech to push Grvt toward world-class usability and delight

Design Execution & Leadership

• Lead end-to-end design for core product features
• Guide UI/UX designers through rapid cycles of ideation, prototyping, user testing, and iteration
• Work with the Creative team to build and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and aesthetic excellence
• Collaborate with the Creative team to craft prototypes and interaction flows that elevate utility through thoughtful, emotionally rich design
• Give and receive thoughtful critique; elevate the craft quality of the entire team

Collaboration & Influence

• Work directly with Product, Engineering, Creative and Leadership to shape product strategy and outcomes
• Influence product and business decisions through insight-driven design thinking
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing to create a unified, lifestyle-driven experience across product and storytelling

Team Building

• Mentor designers and help shape a high-performing, high-creativity design organization
• Establish best practices that blend innovation, discipline, rigor, and speed

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 6+ years of product design experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end work on complex digital products
• Deep experience with UX principles, interaction design, and visual design craft
• Proven ability to translate abstract ideas into clear, compelling user flows and interfaces
• Ability to draw inspiration from outside industries and apply cross-domain insights
• Comfort working in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in Web3, fintech, or deep tech, but not required
• Background in game design, consumer apps, social platforms, or creative technology
• Experience building or scaling design systems
• Familiarity with motion design or 3D is a plus
