SEO Specialist (Search Engine Optimization)

We are a UK-based company that matches the finest remote talent with startups in the UK, Europe and the US. As part of this, we find and interview remote talent worldwide and introduce them to businesses. We work with start-ups and agencies in various segments; some of our current customers specialise in marketing, mental health and fintech.

Role type: Fully remote (3pm - 12am IST)

Salary range: ₹8L - ₹16L per year

Responsibilities:

• Understand and contribute to the shared client strategies that deliver holistic growth solutions across customer acquisition, conversion and retention to achieve client success metrics.
• Define the SEO strategy and prioritise the resulting on-page, off-page and technical SEO tactics for each client.
• Manage the content calendar to collaborate with copywriters to deliver SEO content.
• Drive technical SEO requirements with a team of engineers.
• Build SEO reporting dashboards and present monthly results to clients.
• Perform competitive analysis to monitor and measure each client’s search positioning.
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in SEO roles
• Experience as an SEO manager working with different sets of clients in various industries
• Proven track record of success with SEO marketing and proficiency with tools like Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio and Google Search Console
• Experience working with Google Page Speed Insights
• Self-directed and collaborative person who knows how to prioritise and execute tasks
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial company and desires to drive immediate results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS
• Quick and proactive learner
• High EQ
• Data-driven

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of JavaScript and server-side rendering
• Nice to have: Experience in e-commerce strategy, UI/UX strategy, technology
• Startup experience is a plus, but if you fit the qualities above, you'll understand what we need
