The Opportunity

We're hiring an Email Designer (Retention & Lifecycle) to design and maintain retention email and SMS creative for a fast-growing DTC brand — you'll build 30+ emails a month plus supporting lifecycle flows entirely in Figma, then slice and hand off production-ready files into Klaviyo, working inside an established, type-led brand system at high volume and speed.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Retention Email Design: Design 30+ retention emails per month, plus supporting SMS creative, from brief to production-ready file.
• Lifecycle Flow Design: Design and maintain lifecycle email flows — welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, win-back — not just one-off sends.
• Figma Production: Build all designs in Figma and hand off clean, organized, sliced files.
• Klaviyo Upload: Slice and upload finished designs into Klaviyo.
• Creative Iteration: Edit and iterate off existing creative assets (crop, resize, text overlays, and more).
• Motion & GIFs: Build GIFs and lightweight animated modules for email.
• Asset Organization: Save, organize, and file creative assets for easy access and collaboration.
• End-to-End Flow Ownership: Grow into owning full flow builds end to end — design through Klaviyo build, QA, and scheduling — and expanding into SMS creative and campaign landing page design.

What You Bring

• Design Experience: 3+ years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows retention or lifecycle email work.
• Advanced Figma: Advanced Figma proficiency, as design and handoff happen entirely in Figma.
• Design Sensibility: A clean, minimal, type-led design sensibility and the discipline to work inside an established brand system.
• High-Volume Output: Comfortable with high-volume output and fast turnarounds.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with Adobe Suite for graphic design (Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Availability: Ability to work PST.

Bonus Points if:

• You have hands-on Klaviyo experience — building, slicing, and QA'ing emails in-platform.
• You have basic HTML/CSS for email troubleshooting.
• You're comfortable writing or adjusting light email copy.
• You have experience with Canva for quick mockups and editing.
• You're familiar with Gmail and Slack for team communication.
