Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in designing, developing, and scaling Growth99s next-generation software solutions. This position requires strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development, alongside solid frontend experience with Angular. You will also architect and integrate AI-powered applications using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Vector Databases, building scalable and intelligent systems that deliver measurable business impact and exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java & Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance front-end applications with Angular (2+)
• Architect and integrate LLM-based applications (Large Language Models) with Java-based frameworks.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for AI-driven features.
• Work with vector databases to store and retrieve embeddings efficiently.
• Explore and implement Apache AGE frameworks for enterprise-grade AI retrieval workflows.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to build AI-powered features such as predictive analytics, NLP, conversational AI, and personalization systems.
• Optimize server-side logic for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop, secure, and scale RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Deploy applications and AI pipelines on AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Implement event-driven and messaging systems using SQS, SNS, SES, Twilio, and SendGrid.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and automation.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with deep expertise in Spring Boot & Hibernate.
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular (2+).
• Proven experience developing LLM-powered applications (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.) with Java backends.
• Hands-on experience with RAG pipeline design and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weviate, FAISS, and Milvus) and graph databases (Neo4j and Apache AGE).
• Familiarity with embedding models and scalable Java-based AI integration.
• Experience with Spring AI, TensorFlow Java API, or DL4J.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native development.
• Strong experience with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Comprehend, Lex).
• Expertise in relational (PostgreSQL) databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grasp of software architecture, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Ability to mentor, lead code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
• Bonus : Prior experience developing MCP-based AI models.

Qualifications
