Role Overview:
As an Account Director, you’ll be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive growth strategies for fintech clients across paid media and influencer marketing. You’ll lead client campaigns, manage relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and performance. Your background in digital marketing and multi-channel strategies will enable you to optimise results and identify opportunities for further growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead the development and execution of client strategies across paid media, influencer marketing, and creative, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Provide insights, advice, and recommendations based on performance data to continually optimize campaigns and drive results.
- Oversee experimentation and testing across channels, audiences, and ads, ensuring performance improvements and insights.
Performance & Growth:
- Identify new growth opportunities within client accounts, leveraging multi-channel strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and strategy across ads, influencer content, and landing pages.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with fintech clients, acting as a strategic partner and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Lead onboarding for new clients and work closely with subject matter experts to develop and implement tailored strategies.
- Take ownership of client budgets, ensuring projects remain profitable, and manage the commercial health of accounts with timely billing and reporting.
- Forecast, monitor, and report on account performance, ensuring clients’ KPIs and growth goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including paid, media, creative and influencer departments, to ensure seamless delivery of client projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure consistent communication between the team and the client, driving clear alignment on goals, expectations, and outcomes.
- Manage client expectations confidently, serving as a key liaison between clients and internal teams.
Innovation & Growth:
- Stay ahead of trends and innovations in growth marketing, paid media, influencer marketing, and performance creative.
- Proactively introduce new ideas, creative strategies, and market-leading initiatives that help clients grow and differentiate themselves in the market.
- Contribute to agency growth by leading pitches for new business, creating compelling proposals, and presenting to potential clients.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in account management within a digital or growth marketing agency.
- Proven expertise in paid media, influencer marketing, UGC, creative, and landing page optimisation, preferably within fintech or financial services.
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving profitability.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead high-performance teams.
