What You'll Do

UI/UX & Web Design

• Design modern, clean, and conversion-focused websites and landing pages
• Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Develop user flows, wireframes, page layouts, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Design service pages, homepages, landing pages, forms, and conversion-focused funnels
• Build and maintain reusable Figma components, styles, and design systems
• Apply strong UX principles, visual hierarchy, usability, and accessibility
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Perform design QA and identify inconsistencies between designs and final builds
• Think strategically about how design, content, and layout can improve conversions

Graphic Design & Branding

• Design compelling social media graphics for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Create logos, icons, brand assets, and visual identities
• Develop web banners, digital ads, promotional graphics, and marketing materials
• Create graphics that follow established brand guidelines and visual systems
• Adapt designs across different formats, platforms, and brand identities
• Ensure all final assets are properly optimized and delivered in the correct formats

Collaboration & Creative Execution

• Work closely with the Design Lead and Project Manager across multiple projects
• Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and developers to ensure creative alignment
• Translate client requirements and feedback into polished design solutions
• Present design concepts and explain design decisions when required
• Handle feedback and iterations professionally
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
• Stay current with modern UI/UX, graphic design, web design, and digital marketing trends

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional design experience
• Strong experience in both Graphic Design AND UI/UX/Web Design
• A strong portfolio is REQUIRED — applications without a portfolio will not be considered
• Portfolio must demonstrate both website/UI work and graphic design work
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, spacing, visual hierarchy, and composition
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and UX principles
• Experience designing websites, landing pages, and digital experiences
• Understanding of Figma components, Auto Layout, styles, and design systems
• Ability to design with both aesthetic quality and conversion/user experience in mind
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce pixel-perfect work
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team
• Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly

Bonus Points

• Experience working with home service businesses
• Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
• Familiarity with AI image creation!
• Experience designing for local/service-based businesses
• Basic motion design or animation skills
• Experience creating short-form content, reels, or animated social media graphics
• Familiarity with ClickUp, Trello, Slack, Notion, or similar collaboration tools
• Understanding of digital marketing and lead-generation funnels
