We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to scale the Mirror Node, the engine behind our data infrastructure. If you love clean architecture, massive datasets, and high-performance systems, this is your playground.

What You’ll Do

• Own the entire backend lifecycle — from design to deployment and monitoring
• Build and maintain APIs (gRPC, GraphQL, REST) powering wallets, explorers, and apps
• Work with hundreds of terabytes of on-chain data
• Optimize performance across the stack — from database queries to infra tuning
• Operate in a GitOps-driven CI/CD environment

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years backend experience (Java, Spring Boot preferred)
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL or similar relational DBs
• Experience designing scalable services (REST APIs, microservices, etc.)
• 1+ years with Kubernetes in production
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, distributed systems, and performance engineering
• Previous experience in high-performance environments (FAANG, crypto-native orgs, or fast-paced startups)

🌟 Bonus Points

• Blockchain or distributed ledger experience
• Experience with sharded DBs (e.g., Citus, Vitess, Spanner)
• Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, Protobuf, GitOps workflows
• Proven ability to work on massive-scale data systems
