Your Impact

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Mirror Node Team, you'll tackle large-scale data challenges, optimize indexing, and ensure high-performance query execution. You'll build scalable APIs, enhance data structures, and push system efficiency to new heights.

What You’ll Do

Own the full application lifecycle—design, development, deployment, and operations.

Build and optimize gRPC, GraphQL, and REST APIs.

Scale data storage to handle hundreds of terabytes.

Improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

Participate in GitOps-based deployments and release management.

What We’re Looking For

🔹 4+ years of Java experience.

🔹 3+ years working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

🔹 Experience at a top crypto company, FAANG, or high-growth scale-up.

🔹 1+ years of Kubernetes experience.

🔹 Strong foundation in REST APIs, Spring Boot, and data structures.

🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

🔹 Passion for learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

⭐ Experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technology.

⭐ Familiarity with sharded databases (Citus, Spanner, Vitess, Cassandra, etc.).

⭐ Hands-on knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, Protobuf design, and GitOps.

⭐ Experience scaling systems to massive datasets.
