Position Summary

Green Home Solutions is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and coordinate marketing operations across our national franchise network. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and directly manages the Marketing Coordinator while driving national brand growth and local franchise success through strategic campaigns, creative execution, and performance analytics.

The Marketing Director serves as the connection between strategy and execution, guiding systemwide marketing initiatives, supporting franchise development efforts, and helping individual franchise owners market and grow their local businesses.

About the Position

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Translate the company’s marketing vision into actionable quarterly and monthly plans.
  • Oversee national and regional campaigns, helping franchisees align with marketing themes, product launches, and major initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
  • Partner closely with Operations and Franchise Development so that marketing efforts directly support lead generation, customer retention, and system growth.

2. Campaign Management

  • Plan, organize, and execute national and local marketing campaigns from concept through completion.
  • Manage the creative pipeline, ensuring blogs, collateral, videos, and email campaigns are delivered on time and meet brand standards.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between franchise owners and marketing partners, coordinating deliverables, timelines, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to define KPIs, budgets, and strategic campaign goals.

3. Franchise Development Marketing

  • Support the growth of the franchise system by executing marketing strategies that drive qualified franchise development leads.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on messaging, creative assets, ad campaigns, blogs, press releases, and landing pages targeting prospective franchisees.
  • Analyze franchise development marketing performance and recommend optimizations for cost per lead, conversion rate, and pipeline quality.
  • Ensure alignment between national brand storytelling and the franchise recruitment narrative.

4. Performance & Analytics

  • Track and report key marketing metrics including CPL, CPC, ROAS, conversion rates, organic growth, social engagement, website analytics, and lead quality.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Semrush to gather insights for reporting and decision-making.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve PPC, Meta, and display ad performance, as well as SEO results and budget efficiency.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to leadership with actionable insights.

5. Franchisee Support

  • Lead marketing onboarding for new franchise owners, including setup of all marketing platforms, access, training, and best practices.
  • Support local marketing initiatives, co-op campaigns, and paid advertising strategy for individual franchisees.
  • Develop and maintain seasonal marketing playbooks, templates, and guidance designed to improve local execution and results.
  • Serve as a primary point-of-contact for franchisee marketing inquiries, assistance, and escalations.

6. Content & Communication Oversight

  • Supervise the Marketing Coordinator in creating social content, email newsletters, press releases, presentations, and design assets.
  • Review and approve outgoing communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate systemwide announcements, national campaign messaging, and communications for key events such as the annual convention or community initiatives.

7. Innovation & Systems

  • Support the implementation of new tools and systems that improve marketing efficiency, including AI-driven workflows, CRM enhancements, and automation.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends in digital marketing, home services, indoor air quality, and franchise marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate across campaigns, processes, and digital strategy to keep Green Home Solutions ahead of industry trends.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in a franchise, home services, or B2C environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing, paid advertising, and SEO, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable results.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Ads, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM/marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Passion for leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing strategy, streamline workflows, and increase productivity.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to balance both franchisor and franchisee priorities.
  • Experience with WordPress or website content management systems is a plus, but not required.
