Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Stan Developer / Bayesian Statistical Modeler with strong expertise in Bayesian statistics, probabilistic programming, and advanced statistical modeling to develop and optimize production-grade statistical models.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop Bayesian models using Stan, including hierarchical, time-series, spatial, and mixture models.

✅ Optimize model performance, sampling efficiency, and convergence.

✅ Execute MCMC sampling using HMC/NUTS and perform statistical diagnostics.

✅ Analyze R-hat, Effective Sample Size (ESS), divergences, and posterior predictive checks.

✅ Integrate Stan models with production data pipelines.

✅ Apply advanced parameterization techniques and custom C++ functions where required.

✅ Translate statistical outputs and uncertainty estimates into actionable business insights.

🎯 Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience developing and optimizing statistical models using Stan.
• Strong foundation in Bayesian statistics and probabilistic modeling.
• Experience with MCMC, HMC/NUTS, convergence diagnostics, and variational inference.
• Proficiency in R or Python.
• Experience with CmdStan, CmdStanPy, or CmdStanR.

➕ Good to Have:

• C++ programming.
• Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Parallel processing and GPU acceleration.
• Strong English communication skills.
